First the staff were great they could do no more. Seats could be more comfy in the bar and it was cold in the area. You can buy a beer or wine They did not have the wine we wanted but what we had was good and we were able to take it though to watch the film which is a must. Giving sweets in a plastic glass is ok but there must be something better way Even in a a bag would be more presentable. They really need to get a hot drinks machine upstairs as it’s all fizzy drinks or buying a drink. Seating in the cinema was good but felt it needed a recliner as you are paying more per seat. Having a table was great. Toilets are nice and close to the gallery seats but need some updating and maintenance. It is good how the staff help you to your seat and they can time it to miss the adverts if you want. in all I would do it again but it could be so much better with some care and attention make it warmer and a hot drinks machine is needed. …

My son and I visited the gallery on the Saturday before Christmas specifically to see the Curiosity Exhibition. As you would expect the gallery was quiet, but that gave us the opportunity to linger over an excellent exhibition containing some great stuff; some amusing, some weird - congratulations to the curator. This museum is housed in Norwich Castle, and features an outstanding group of paintings by artists from the Norwich School. They were really the first plein air painters, who went out into the field and painted from nature. The art also gives you an invaluable insight into how life was lived in the area, and what East Anglia looked like in the 1700's-1800's. Don't miss this museum!…

Just visited the Lance Wyman show at the Gallery at Norwich University College of the Arts, absolutely stunning! Best thing I've seen since the last show, printed in Norfolk. The Gallery is in a great spot, easy to access and the 'You Are Here' exhibition, curated by Finola Gaynor showcases the work of Graphic Design legend Lance Wyman of Mexico '68 Olympics fame. Not only this but one can also see stamps, wayfinding artefacts from the US National Zoo and the re-design of the Washington DC Metro system. On 'til 9 June so check it out! Oh yes, and its free admission Tue-Sat 12.00 til 17.00 inclusive.…
