Again a delightful old cathedral, with Edith Cavells burial place, family fun day when we visited, which made it better so nice to see young children enjoying themselves inside church! Should be encouraged more

The cathedral itself is impressive in terms of stonework but not a great deal of significant interior decoration - though seek out the Dispenser reredos if you like medieval art. it is also worth contrasting the two memorials to Edith Cavell (executed in WW1) which...More

And that’s from someone who isn’t even religious. Lovely place, well kept. Entry is an “optional £5” but it was definitely worth it.

Beautiful cathedral with the added bonus of an art exhibition on entrance. Lovely cafe and lots to see if you are into cathedrals. The volunteers who greeted us really cared for their cathedral. What a warm welcome! Would certainly visit again.

I've visited many Cathedrals in many countries around the world and this is possibly the most impressive. Incredibly well preserved and maintained with a rich history.
