Visited house and gardens. Staff shortages meant no guides in bedrooms and couldn’t walk around just peer into. Several items on loan elsewhere and the guides didn’t seem to reach out and try and interact / tell you something about the room even just its...More

Each time i come to Felbrigg there is something new to see. It is a gem of a house with an almost complete set of furnishings that were in the house when the Trust acquired it. Despite this the displays are constantly being changed. The...More

Visited Felbrigg Hall for the green build show. Excellent setting for this in the halls grounds. Gardens were all clean and tidy. Tearooms were very busy.

Being keen gardeners the main purpose of our trip was to visit the well known 6 acre walled garden. It was a very inspiring visit. The walled garden was very colourful and well tended. I came away with a number of good ideas. We also...More

As we didn’t go round the house I can’t comment upon that. We walked around the parkland which has several marked paths and the map at the entrance shows these and how long each is. A drink and scone at the coffee made a pleasant...More

A National Trust property, so free parking and free entry for members. For non-members parking is reasonable at £3 but an adult entrance fee of £12.25 is a bit steep. Felbrigg Hall is a fairly elegant country house set in just over 500 acres of...More

Once again it's time for this establishment to take a course at the MacDonalds school of customer service. While I don't have a gripe with the quality of the fare, a man could die of hunger or thirst waiting on that queue!
