To be homest, I didn't have high expectations of this museum, but I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and the interesting exhibits included. Learnt a lot about Middlesbrough and it's people ... well worth a visit.

Excellent info on areas of Middlesbrough throughout the years, always a different exhibition going on downstairs, very family friendly.

I have been going here since a kid and every visit as been so educational to me, always good exhibitions on show and I always love it, will be taking the grandchildren soon as I am sure they will love it.

We took our five year old grandson to the museum and we all thoroughly enjoyed the experience. There was lots to see and do including interactive activities and, for 50p, there were quiz sheets available for children of all ages. The H2O room proved popular....More

yes there is a car park at the back of museum. and one situated on linthorpe road that is free for up to 2 hrs
