My wife and I visited MIMA for the first time on a Tuesday afternoon. We were the ONLY visitors - as soon as we started to look at the exhibits, the two museum male members of staff (presumably 'guides') started to walk around the rooms...More

Spent a good hour in this place enjoying the historic art collection and the modern galleries. Staff very helpful and informative, they offered a free guided tour which was helpful as they put the art into context. Some well known artists works in here.

The food here is of excellent quality and generous portions. The staff are very helpful and the chef will let you try a little bit if you are not sure if you will like it or not. The prices are great as well.

Two floors were closed when we visited but I very much enjoyed the art that was available. Don't be put off by the 'modern' tag. I found most of the artwork to be accessible and of good quality. I will certainly visit again when more...More
