Beautiful pub and like a wonderful time warp. However, the rudest landlord I have ever met. We'd only been in the pub for half an hour when the landlord came to take our *unfinished* drinks away. He said we needed to buy more drinks or...More

Real step back in time, cash only, no fancy coffee machine and no sight of a sofa! Nice break whilst walking along the canal, good beer, average price for the area. The landlord (character!) and lady were very friendly and helpful, there were a few...More

The Palm Tree is a traditional East End pub with a warm welcome for visitors and locals and despite rumours to the contrary is still open for business. Comfortable and with a traditional range of beer and spirits and a warm welcome from the landlord...More

Live music helps create a party atmosphere but this is at heart at pub, pure and simple. No food, nothing clever, just a good pub.

I travelled across town just to visit this pub and although it is a gem of a pub with interior that is decades old, I left disappointed. What on earth makes them think they could justify these prices? Five pounds for a pint of Guinness...More

While out walking on the canal the skies opened and it started to pour with rain. We beat a hasty retreat and came across this pub just off the tow path in Bethnal Green. What a find! A warm and cozy, traditional pub with Jazz...More

A fantastic proper east end boozer. It’s like going back in time a stunning interior 100% authentic and often used as a location in tv and film. Haven’t yet been to a music night but it certainly looks fun. Great location near the Regents Canal...More
