Nice spot to sit in the sun drinking Pimms, busy this weekend but there were lots of places to perch or you can sit on the grass. Great views of the river and the London Eye.

Went there after a long day in the city. The amount of greenery canceled out a lot of the noise from the traffic. Beautiful place, with a great view, and good priced wine.

The stairs are painted bright yellow. Located close to the skateboard park, in the past I have the place often closed but on a Saturday in September it was open. Several people were enjoying the quiet ambiance, seemed a long way away from the bustling...More

Once you know about this place you'll go here often. It's a more relaxing place to sit and look at the wonders of the great city than down on ground level. There's a bar & café area but you can take your own food &...More

A beer garten, a la German, but more fancy, hidden, and with a nice view on the Thames. Hush, keep it for youself..

Looking at another reviewer's photos taken in June - clearly a lot can change in a month! The staircase up to the roof was an early indication of what was to come - concrete painted bright yellow that smells of urine - like the staircase...More

Perfect place for a drink in the sun in summer. Right in the centre of town and overlooking the Thames. The garden itself is very well kept and full of flowers. The bar is decent but a bit pricey.

That's a good place to start a night out in London. You have a good view on the Thames and you feel like your are in a garden. The place is surrounded by many bars, pubs and rstaurants.

Big time attractions such as the London Eye and a
thriving theatre scene (compliments of the National

Well it's open today 10am-10pm apparently. As it's joined to the Southbank Centre I'd imagine it's open when they are. You could ring this number before you go to check 020 7960 4200.
