I live pretty much near this market but never been ; I can see why , it's unpleasant, grotty and frankly depressing , filled with rude eastern European people and highly dodgy characters Avoid like the plague

We walked there as staying nearby not knowing what to expect. Followed the crowds but found it very confusing and hard to find entrance- seemed to walk round for miles so advice is to find entrance on map before going. Did expect a more crafty...More
