I visited The Gate, Notting Hill for the first time last night for a preview screening and q&a afterwards of "Lean on Pete" {amazing film, Charlie Plummer is sublime}. This is a one screen cinema as it was in 1907 when it was built, with...More

I saw an average film here but the experience was excellent. This cinema is refurbished with comfortable seats, a nice wine and beer list, and lovely people managing it. I really enjoyed my time there, and I'd go again in a minute.

Had a great and more than affordable movie night with friends. The entrance is so cute and has some bar feeling and the staff is really nice. It's cheap compared to other movie theaters but it is so cute because it's more than 100 years...More

This is a lovely place for a kid's birthday party... great location, arrive at 10am for a Saturday morning showing, see the film in velvet seats, quick cake at the end.. and hey presto... party done! Wonderful!
