Old style lido. Reasonable entry charges. Pool is huge and clean. Water is cool rather than cold. Plenty of staff/lifeguards. Lots of surrounding terrace areas but shade is at a premium. Cafe is cute and OK. However, the changing facilities are out dated and appalling,...More

I live locally, and absolutely adore the Lido on a hot day (as we have had particularly recently - I managed to slot in two lunchtime swims there this week). The pool itself is lovely and well maintained, and the building old school and authentic...More

Nice pool but a little small! Overall it's a nice day out with the kids and safe for all! With about 5 life guards on duty and a family ticket for £18 (2 adults and 3kids) superb value for money!

Morning swim in the fog. Just a handful of swimmers so peaceful and tranquil - apart from the squeals from us as we entered the chilly December water. The poolside sauna is genius!

A friend of mine recommended this place to me as a regular. It's £3.50 until 0930 (opens at 0700) and starts off with width swimming and then switches to lengths and lanes. It's a huge 50m pool. Extremely clean, little chlorine, but isn't heated! So...More
