Went here for drinks after having dinner in one of the restaurants in the Shard. The drinks are great, however the alcohol to £ ratio is ridiculous. What you’re really paying for is that fantastic view of London, and frankly it’s well worth it.

Visited Gong Bar as part of a gift linked to The View from The Shard. The location of the bar is truly spectacular made even more special as we had a window table. The attentive service matched the location. As to the actual afternoon tea...More

The highest point bar in London with a good view of the city Friendly staff with over priced drinks! Considering the area and atmosphere, the price is acceptable!! Good drinks with variety of options to choose from however, the snack was pretty bad One annoying...More

My husband and I visited Gong Bar at the Shangri-La Hotel last month for afternoon tea. Our table was booked at 12 and we received efficient and friendly service from all staff. The afternoon tea selection was faultless with an unusual blend of fillings that...More

Amazing views over London, undeniably. But the service is incredibly average. Long waits to get drinks, inattentive waiting staff etc. The cocktails were good, just a shame the overall experience wasn't. Glad I have been but I won't be going back.

We booked a table for drinks during our stay in London. All correspondence was via email, Filipa was very helpful and quick to respond to my questions. From the minute we stepped into the foyer of the Shangri-La Hotel the experience was fantastic! The views...More

I booked the Gong for afternoon tea with my girl friends as it was the highest spot but it is better suited as the cocktail bar that it was designed to be. It's small so when full and with the glass windows it was quite...More

Even before the arrival of the instantly iconic Shard,

I think if you smile nicely and ask the concierge, they will be able to help you. They are good people there.
