Why pay to go up to a viewing level when you can sit and drink super cocktails overlooking the London skyline and the Tower of London. Beautiful cocktails and champagne with a sumptuous fruit and truffle platter free for my birthday. Booking essential.

As guests for the night, it made sense to kick off the night in the Gong Bar. The views came highly recommended. We were offered a seat by the window, which was lovely. Views of the city were rather spectacular. However, this is as far...More

We didn‘t know that you MUST eat the afternoon tea „menu“ for 58 pounds per person...this is NOT written on the website when booking. The tea sandwiches and sweets are so little they all fit on to a tiny etagere. Also the taste of the...More

Visited for my girlfriend's birthday, amazing atmosphere, view and cocktails. Salvatore the bartender was exceptional, very skilled and could make any cocktail imaginable. He made the visit much better and wouldn't have been the same without him, thank you Salvatore!

We visited this place based on recommendation on TripAdvisor. The afternoon tea was excellent and the service was very attentive and good. And being on the 52nd floor of the Shard it had amazing views.

It’s nice to see the view from the Shard from higher than 32nd floor. The bar has nice decor, they accommodated us next to the pool, although very nice I do feel there is pressure to make money and squeeze lots of people in just...More

We booked a table for 2300, arrived 2255 table not ready. Waited 20 min before I made a complaint, suddenly as by magic a table was available. Came up to the 52nd floor. The bar is claustrophobic and uncomfortable. The service was terrible from the...More

Even before the arrival of the instantly iconic Shard,
the riverside scene in Southwark had moved well beyond
any up-and-coming phase of development. For quite some
time, locals and out-of-towners alike have loved
browsing the boutiques of Bermondsey High Street,
foraging through the bounteous stalls at centuries old
foodie haven Borough Market, and flocking to the banks
of the Thames to enjoy some of Britain's biggest

I think if you smile nicely and ask the concierge, they will be able to help you. They are good people there.

Hi, and Merry Christmas to you also, it sounds like you are asking if I work there and sadly I do not sir, I visited myself, so the best bet is to email the bar directly, that way you will receive the correct information... More
