If you are interested in gravestones then in Hammersmith cemetery there are plenty of wierd and wonderful designs. Nearest tube station is Barons Court.

This cemetery offers a walkway to local residential areas from dawn to dusk. Many old graves here are worth a visit if you are interested in local history. For those that like squirrels there are a few here that a great photographic models!

This is a better shortcut from Barons Court station to Fulham than a real site to go and see but well kept and old enough to be interesting to linger a little on your way through.

Truely beautiful grounds. My only disappointment was I could not find anywhere to buy the guide book and there was no one to ask. But besides this it was a wonderful visit and well worth it.

I used the path thru cemetery for s number of years to cut from tube station across to the river. It's quite a large space and well kept. Seen some sights within during my walks across...drunks, druggies, drop outs, picnic parties and general punters. Encountered...More
