It could easily be Italy or Greece, this wonderful hidden spot in London. What a find! It is nicest to enter the garden from the Golders Green Park (which is very nice too), see the pond first and than gradually build up to the most...More

This place is quite magical and like all magic places is hard to find. It can be approached from Jack Straw's Castle to the North or probably more easily from the small gate on the opposite side of the park from the cafe in Golders...More

Created in the early part of the 20th Century for Lord Leverhulme, the soap magnate, after he'd bought a big townhouse situated on the edge of Hampstead Heath. Called 'The Hill', it's one of the 'HIDDEN GEMS' of London. His Lordship bought up land all...More

I'd wandered around Belsize Park, Hampstead and the Heath for years, both when I lived here in the '90s and during the many business trips I've taken since 2015. I'd never explored this western edge of the Heath and North End Way, however, until a...More

Lovely place for an evening walk, a photo shoot or to visit anytime to relax. Beautiful garden and pergola covered in greens feel like you're among ancient roman ruins. Wonderful place to visit.

I can't believe how close I have been living to this place I have to say it is the prettiest and most Instagram worthy garden I have seen in my life. It's a little hard to find but well worth it.

In May and June it closes at 8:30 PM: 22 May - 23 July 8.30pm 24 July - 20 August 7.30pm It is part of Golders Green Park, but there is a gate for Pergola Hill that closes somewhat earlier than the main park.
