I thought this looked very lifelike, although I'm not sure if the size is. He's big in this statue. Free, and right in front of Westminster Abbey.

Even in old age this impressive statue exudes Churchill’s gravitas and grandeur. Deserving of pride of place in Westminster Square.

On a busy square this statue demands its presence. And that's fair with the position he has in history. I can really advise you to go the Cabinet War Rooms too.

The statue depicts Winston as you expect him to be. The coat, the stick, the stoop. All are well crafted on this statue of the iconic man.

How different the world would be today without powerful and effective leaders like Churchill and those that lead the allied forces. This statue is one of 12 in the Parliament Square plaza.

Winston Churchill was very important man in Britain. He did so much good for the allies during WW2. The story is he never wanted to have a statue because birds would crap on it.

I totally disagree with a few of the reviews on here as I believe that this statue of Churchill - the greatest Prime Minister of the 20 th Century is superb and definitely worth a closer inspection due to its detail and craftsmanship by Ivor...More

Unveiled in 1973 this statue bears a very good likeness to Sir Winston Churchill and stands at an impressive 12 feet tall (3.7 m). It's a shame that some people have defaced it a few times in the past but it's a very good memorial...More

If you only had an afternoon to experience London on a
grand scale, Westminster would be a wise place to
start. The ornate Houses of Parliament and Westminster
Abbey sit adjacent at a corner of Parliament Square,
and a short stroll along The Mall leads to Buckingham
Palace. Trafalgar Square and Nelson's Column are just
up the road as well. As captivating as the
architecture is, the wonders of Mother Nature are
