Winston Churchill is now viewed as a somewhat controversial character but he appeared larger than life and that is reflected in this vast oversized statue of him overlooking the Palace of Westminster.

This is a pretty cool statue, located close to Big Ben makes it easy to stop in the small garden area and check it out. Would recommend if you’re in the area.

The statue is at front of the Westminster Abbey which makes it really a historically exciting site to take a picture.

This is a lovely statue, which should've been so much better lit at night, as it totally disappears in the dark square.

This is a very humble statue of our great leader and isn't really a good enough tribute to a man of his stature. The statue is appropriately place right in from of the Palace of Westminster.

Visit the Bunker, not far from this statue. When the 2nd war ended the bunker was locked up. Opened a few years ago with every room just as it was some 70 years ago. The desk with the BBC microphone where he gave his messages...More

Amongst a city of statues it is not as impressive as some of the war memorials. Still an iconic man.

If you only had an afternoon to experience London on a
grand scale, Westminster would be a wise place to
start. The ornate Houses of Parliament and Westminster
Abbey sit adjacent at a corner of Parliament Square,
and a short stroll along The Mall leads to Buckingham
Palace. Trafalgar Square and Nelson's Column are just
up the road as well. As captivating as the
architecture is, the wonders of Mother Nature are
