Built in 1821 and filled with glass that was commissioned thought to be be created by Walt Gibbs and sons of Blackfriars. It was a hidden gem in the middle of Mayfair in Central London before dinner. Good selection of English brews and a good...More

Prompt friendly service, no music nice to chat and catch up. The supplement of food was an added bonus and the variety of whiskey helped.

When there only for a few pints before restaurant. So nice atmosphere! The kind of old, strange decorum that you need to drink and talk nicely. A perfect drinking place, easily crowded as the space between bar and walls is pretty narrow, the way it...More

A favourite with locals and also tourists - a quintessential ‘good old boozer’ in the heart of Mayfair. The staff are wonderfully friendly, the choice of drinks and food is sufficient. The food is superb whatever time of day.

Close to Big Ben and Parliament you'd think this to be a tourist bar. It's not. It's definitely authentic with mostly a after work crowd. It's not big but has lots a charm. It's a great spot especially after seeing some of the nearby tourist...More

Love this pub, very London spilling out on to the street. London Pride was very popular with my group. For a busy pub there were plenty of staff who were quick and friendly. Always a good choice.

If you're looking for an authentic London pub experience, this is it. Simply put, this place is charming. My wife and I spent a couple of hours on a Saturday relaxing and enjoying a couple of pints, which were reasonably priced. And the fact that...More

Coincidentally I found myself here twice last week. The pub had been recommended previously but my one other effort to go here was thwarted by the vast numbers of people inside. You couldn't get in the place. Indeed that is the one down side -...More

St. James's
Perennially fashionable since the days of Henry VIII,
the aristocratic “Clubland” of St James's is a premier
destination for high end craft and bespoke design.
Here you’ll lose count of the Royal Warrants (which
indicate that the Royal Family patronizes the
establishment) seen in shop front windows, even during
a short stroll to bordering Green Park or St James’s
Park. With the brightly lit and constantly buzzing
