Excellent little back street bar. I've been coming here on and off for about 25 years, I'd guess, and it never disappoints. It's tucked away in a little residential street just off of Highbury Corner. The main bar is quite narrow, so it doesn't take...More

You would never believe that you are only 15 minutes walk away from The Emirates Stadium. This great little traditional pub is perfect for pre-match and post-match drinks. Also handy for Highbury & Islington tube. Good selection of beers, I opted for the Punk IPA.

Tucked away behind Highbury Corner, this is a delight. A quiet neighbourhood pub, with great draft beer, decent menu and no hassle. Proper regular customers too, no hype. What a treat.

One goes to so many eating establishments nowadays, so how lovely to find a public house possibly named after those stalwarts of Middlesex, England and Arsenal's dynamic duo Dennis and Leslie Compton. Whilst the accommodation is snug (yet spotlessly clean), the welcome is warm and...More
