It's been a long time since it was done over from the days when it was a great, grubby local. The food is stupidly over priced and not that great - in my opinion but perfect for all the posh people colonizing this previously working...More

The Duke is a very friendly and relaxed pub with frequent live music, film nights etc. Good range of beers.

The decoration here is very nice. There is a decent bar but no dark ale ! There is an outside area up the stairs as is the toilets. Music venue and big TV screen. The service was good.

Love this pub! First visit yesterday, burger was great, a selection of ginger beers (I'm addicted to the stuff) but also noticed a lot of local ales in bottle fridge. Reasonable prices, seemed like they had a variety of events planned and there was a...More

Overpriced beer, self-important idiot of a bar manager and decidedly average food - go to one of the many better pubs in the area.
