Lunch with my Son. Fabulous fish and chips and a pint of Beavertown Neck Oil. A combo, which cannot be beaten. This is one special eating house.

Visited this pub with some friends and first impression was ‘no room at the inn’ - the bar was mobbed. Unusual for London pubs at 4:00 in the afternoon. We were told that there were other areas and wander around which we did. Sure enough...More

A fine old pub in a good location - just off Old SpitalFields Market and up from Liverpool St. Good selection of beers, plenty space and good seating. The roast dinners looked excellent- next time !

This place is a bit of a Tardis. Far bigger inside than it appears from the outside. It also has an outside seating area that isn't obvious from the street. It offers a good range of non-commercial brand beers that should satisfy all; in particularly...More

I visited this pub on Mothers Day with my daughter. Great atmosphere, very friendly and attentive staff and the fish and chip meal was delicious. There was a bit of a mix up with the order we placed but the staff couldn't apologise enough. We...More

I've visited the Water poet last Saturday. The place was packed and I really had so much fun (although girl's toilets are just not enough - had to queue for ages!). The garden at the back is so beautiful with all those fairy lights! Lovely...More
