One of my favourite South East London pubs; it was the first place I went to after going on a very stringent self-imposed retreat this summer, of which I will say nothing. Delicious food, but not too gastro. Quiet but not too quiet. Shabby chic...More

Had a delicious roast chicken lunch here. The meat was succulent, the gravy, creamed leaks, roast parsnips, just-right carrots and peas were all perfect. Service professional and friendly, prices very reasonable, seating outside in the spacious canopied area overlooking the quiet street was just right....More

Being local we knew that the pub was under new management so we were keen to try their Sunday roast. We were not disappointed. The food is fantastic. The staff are very helpful. We really enjoyed our lunch and will definitely be returning.

I have no idea what happened to our experience and why our experience appears to be so far off from others on here, but this place was terrible on all areas! Food - cold when they arrived. Also we had the Christmas menu and there...More

We have just moved to Peckham and had a drink here last Saturday afternoon. What a great pub full of character and olde world charm. Very friendly staff that we got chatting to about things to do in the area. We decided to pop back...More
