Zeitgeist is located on Black Prince Road in between Vauxhall & Lambeth bridges. Slightly of centre but well worth a visit. Been to this bar on numerous occasions when in London. Serves a wide selection of German & international beers on tap & in bottles...More

Having lived in Germany this pub was too close to our hotel not to make a visit. It was a good choice too. A great range of main and regional German beers. The bar staff even managed to find me some kellerbier. The food menu...More

Having lived in Germany for many years, my wife and I stopped in for an ironic, good German dinner while visiting London because we missed it. The menu and beer selection were diverse and the food was fairly authentic and well prepared. The service was...More

Surprisingly good for food! They have amazing Flammkuchen and Spätzle. Only thing is that they don't have any cider on tap (but plenty of beer to make up for it.)

This pub could be such a good spot especially for watching sport or larger groups. The unique idea of a German beer hall in Lambeth is great but the service doesn't match the aspiration. I visited to watch Liverpool on the Europa League final and...More

Went to meet a friend who was up for the St Pauli game. Service was on the slow side, very slow, snails pace. Average time waiting for beer about 20 minutes. Happened to loads of customers, ended up was a running joke, was actually quite...More

It's basically a pub with a different name, but has Zeitgeist signs in the windows. German beer is served in steins and is excellent. Decor no different from a normal pub. Staff are Germanic and excellent. Food is German and well received unadventurous stuff works...More

Worst customer service I've ever experienced. Would not recommend this place to anyone. We walked in, weren't even greeted by anyone, staff just stared at us. They didn't even say a word to us until we left 10 minutes later.

Couldn't get service here, it was not busy but was ignored by extremely rude staff. Go to the rose a short walk away. We ended up walking out and I'm glad they didn't get my pounds.
