Spotted two Beavertown beers on draft in here (Neck Oil and Beavo) so had a brief visit - knowledgeable staff, friendly space, outdoor seating. The beer selection is wide, on draft, in cans and bottled with regular specials. Midday better than evenings for the ability...More

Used to love this pub for a quick drink after work with mates. So suggested it with some friends on a Saturday- wish I hadn't. The bouncers are rude, aggressive and misogynistic. Won't be going back.

Borough Market pretty much shuts down at 11pm on a Saturday night. Was told at the bar that they were open until 1am. However a heavy set Eastern European bouncer seemed to have a difference of opinion. Apparently being given a plastic glass at 11:50pm...More

Used to drink here before borough market became trendy and some how they have kept a traditional pub feel with some modern twists like the outside space. Really good atmosphere and drinks. Recommended

Even before the arrival of the instantly iconic Shard,
the riverside scene in Southwark had moved well beyond
any up-and-coming phase of development. For quite some
time, locals and out-of-towners alike have loved
browsing the boutiques of Bermondsey High Street,
foraging through the bounteous stalls at centuries old
foodie haven Borough Market, and flocking to the banks
of the Thames to enjoy some of Britain's biggest
