On a hot July afternoon, my wife and I decided to head to the cooling gardens of The Duke of Sussex for afternoon snack.
The menu is very seafood heavy and a strong Spanish influence. No scotch eggs or sausage rolls here I’m afraid.
The pub is really nice and has a friendly atmosphere. The food was generally good although I had the vegetarian paella that did not resemble a paella at all it was more a bowl of bland rice with vegetables which was a shame. Everyone else’s...More
We like the ambience of this pub - it's brick walls & chunky tables hit the right mix of cool but friendly. The service is pretty good too.

We are at the Duke last night for the first time in a long time, we live very close by but are often put off by the confused, difficult-to-order-from menu. Last night was no exception, and our service was terrible.
We ordered a Catalan rice...More
