Neighbourhood: Chelsea
Wealth courses through The King's Road, Chelsea's upmarket artery of West London life packed with shops, eateries and glitzy nightspots. For people-watching at its best and luxury retail therapy that's largely unrivalled, this area cannot be missed. But if this showy street starts to overwhelm or a moment of price tag shock sends you reeling, a quick detour down pretty much any of many King's Road veins will reveal a quieter side of Chelsea. Here the stately Royal Hospital hosts its world-famous flower show, and the Thames rolls along at a lazy pace, with leafy Battersea Park and its Peace Pagoda beckoning from across the river.

    Fantastic jazz club
Amazing place! Not a pompous London city centre club but a great little club that I highly recommend. Not pretentious but fantastic in every respect. The owner and all his staff are superb. WE saw Dave Lewis and his band who were nothing short of excellent. Thanks for a superb evening

A great night on the town - book that date night now...
Surprising good birthday treat, a real discovery via my wife as a birthday treat. Cool or what, downstairs live jazz, rough and ready but perfect atmosphere with bistro chairs, very friendly staff and easy menu. And despite my wife saying the food was so so, had really great rib eye with home made chips, swamped in source and an over whelmed salad. Fabulous. Down the hatch it went with gusto and craft lager... And the Jazz, well virtuoso from the immensely talented Adam Glasser quartet. A real mid week date night dose of serendipity, came home feeling I'd strayed into Mile Davies Blue Note territory, suitably stuffed with non pretentious 'honest' food. For anyone that likes a night out, give it a try. Will be back - bravo 606 club and especially well wishes to the talents of Adam Glasser and his band...

    The Ideal Jazz/R&B Club
We went to see Beverly Skeete last night. She, her daughters and the band did two great sets. Beverly is a star, no doubt. I love the concept and the feel of this place. Every London jazz/R&B club should be like this - stuffed with people, atmosphere and musical talent. It’s very good value. We all three had the ribeye steak for mains and to be honest it was tough and pretty tasteless. Everything else was great and I enjoyed my chorizo and bean starter. But I really do wish I’d ordered a different main.

    Great place
Great place really enjoyed our night here. Food (which you have to book in order to go to the club) was fairly average but not over priced. Has a atmospheric "underground" jazz feel to the place helped by you having to ring a bell to get in and then having to descend steps to the basement where the actual jazz club is. All staff were friendly and attentive. Glad we went and it was one of the highlights of our latest trip to London. We will be back.

Intimate and relaxing evening with friends.
For my birthday, we enjoyed this intimate venue. I felt looked after from booking onwards. I hadn't been there for 30 years, and it felt unchanged (except for no smoke-filled room now!) Tom Smith and his band played an amazing set - and connected with the audience, making us feel included. Our table was right beside the stage. The food was delicious. We went home feeling relaxed and content!

Visited here this week - interesting basement layout - about half the size of Ronnies if people want a comparison - the membership - music cost - alcohol is a bit of a thing but not an issue if yr eating - food is ok - bear in mind this isn’t a restaurant it’s a jazz venue - good intimate music vive - - the rear bar is a good idea to keep talkative drinkers out of the way - suggest don’t get stuck on a cane chair really uncomfortable - arrival reception was a bit brusque but ok - I think they maybe defensive of those who arnt Jazz fans - clientele is varied and I’d say more officiando than the show offs who talk through performances at RONNIES - so well worth a visit def go again

Amazing amazing music from a very talented band HOWEVER the food and service was just TERRIBLE!

we were forced to buy a main or two starters for their “licensing” which was beyond stupid. If you’re going to force people to eat your food, at least let it be edible and worth the expensive amount you’re charging.

These “Club 606 Signature Nachos” were £6.50… we couldn’t believe our eyes when it was put in front of us.

Server was a man who just ignored us and was extremely slow and forgetful with our orders. He also got the hump with us when we did not want to pay the optional service charge.

cool atmosphere but that’s it, wouldn’t return or recommend.

Had a great night here listening in jazz in a lovely and unpretentious little club in Chelsea / Fulham. The surprising thing wa the quality of the food - way better than I was expecting and very good value too. Will definitely return!

We visit jazz clubs internationally in our travels and have memberships to 2 in London. The 606 Club is our favourite London Club. Guests come for the music and are warmly welcomed by the hard working staff and management who make a point of getting to know regulars & members. The venue is unpretentious, the food Is simple and very reasonably priced compared to Ronnies or Boisdales. Dining is required. Dietary restrictions if stated at time of booking are catered for. We had a marvellous Valentines at 606 which exceeded expectations. Great proper jazz club.

I will start by saying that they don’t have the license to let you listen to music without serving you food. They let you know about this after you already book a table with them.

What happened to me was that, I was being pushed to order at least 2 starters or leave. The staff pushed this policy on me in such an aggressive way that made me feel really uncomfortable. The waitress talked to me like I was stupid and the manager told me “you either buy a starter or you leave”

What kind of place would rather manipulate their clients to order more food with them than get a proper license? What are you, first year in business that you can’t afford a license?

No responsibility was taken by the management when I shared my frustration. Those people are absolutely unprofessional and should not be working in hospitality.
