We enjoyed the magic hour as a wonderful wind down to a long day. It was a small group experience with 40 people. Sonic engaged everyone in the crowd. We arrived 2 hours early and had dinner and cocktails before the show. Dinner was expensive but lovely. All the seats at the show were good views. Would definitely do again.

This was a very entertaining evening out, filled with good humor and astounding magic! We had a great time. The magician, Tony "Sonic" Middleton, was very clever and did a nice job of keeping the show moving and telling a great story along the way. If you go, pay the little extra to ensure a seat in the first two rows; it's well worth it to be close to the magic.

Whole show was excellent, thoroughly entertaining, witty and with a cosy atmosphere. No idea how tricks were done. Would recommend for a really enjoyable evening out. Only downside was the hotel bar prices but, I suppose, that is to be expected.

I'm sorry but this was an unfortunate car crash. The tickets are not cheap so please be aware of that from the off. The venue in Park Lane is nice to look at but the wine was awful and just lacked any character. The real magic was trying to find our way back to bar / room it was held in. Side mention to the lovely hotel bar staff who forgot our order twice and proceeded to inform us to our face that we never ordered anything.

Back to the "magic." Think cheap and tacky. We've moved past eBay style tricks and shouldn't have to endure them. It was sad to watch and very few in the audience where impressed. For the cost, this wasn't at all worth it. Would have preferred blow up balloons as that would have been more skilful.

Fabulous show! Love the intimacy, and the atmosphere. We sat in the front row so were able to watch very closely, which just astounded me all the more! Sonic is a master of his art and a talented showman! If you're looking for something to do of an evening in London - book The Magic Hour, you won't regret it.

Absolutely wonderful night out - Sonic has great rapport with the crowd and his skills as a magician are amazing! Very atmospheric setting and every seat will have a good view, plus the show is suitable for families so a great option for evening entertainment. He does a mixture of sleight of hand, mind tricks, astonishing predictions, and creates all manner of objects out of thin air. Woke up the next day still trying to figure out how he did them!

Just seen this show - absolutely spellbound, and sat on the front row, Sonics dexterity and skill is incredible!! He creates a wonderful Victorian parlour atmosphere-the illusions build through the evening to a brilliant conclusion. I assisted with a mind reading illusion and I still have no idea how he did what he did…no stooges, no mirrors….he’s just a master of his craft

I cannot recommend this show highly enough

I bought this as a birthday present for my husband who loves magic. We were not disappointed. The intimacy and low lighting of the wood pannelled room were sufficiently spooky to create a magical atmsophere. Our magician's sleight of hand and story telling were fabulous. A great evening.

This is something really different and memorable to do in London. Sonic was excellent. Being so close up provided a fresh experience of 'magic'. At times, I thought I was spotting clues as to how the tricks were done, but that just added to the interest and enjoyment. In most cases, I had no idea and simply relished the thrill of amazement and wonder. It was great to briefly chat to him after the show as well and a nice touch for him to make himself available for that. My only suggestion for improvement would be to the hotel to prepare better for the interval and not appear surprised when 30 people all want to order a drink at the same time. Put an extra member of staff or two behind the bar, and/or extend the interval by 5-10 mins so that you can prepare the drinks people want rather than refusing certain orders. It was strange to be treated so brusquely in a 5-star establishment.

What a fab different evening out. The hotel, Le Meridian, London, hosted the evening. The show was held in a very accessible room on the ground floor and the hotel staff were very welcoming. There were about 60 in the audience and a lot of us participated in the show. Sonic and Dom did some great tricks. I wanted to know how they did them all! Especially good was the money in the lemon and the card trick at the end! Won’t say anymore in case you go and see the show. We saw ‘Sleight of Hand on the Strand’. Would take the children next time.
