We bought our boat up the Thames and moored in limehouse basin for a week. Friendly and helpful staff. Well maintained marine. Not a lot of showers or toilets for the number of people using the marina. However they are well maintained and clean. A...More

I visited Limehouse Basin early on a Tuesday evening in mid-July. I'd walked the Regent's Canal that afternoon from Camden to it's terminus here. As you can see from the accompanying photos, not much traffic had passed through the locks lately; a thick green algal...More

We had a walk around the basin and it was beautiful. We were fortunate as it was the monthly market day with a new food, drink and 'niknak' stalls. There was also a 1948 Tug boat on show and this was well worth the time...More

Great food stalls with communal seating along with boutique, art and niknak stalls. Live music adds to the atmosphere. I had the Creole inspired delicieux burger - beef steak and blue cheese in a 'strang' but delicious bun.
