Really enjoyed this production, the cast members were brilliant, very atmospheric in the small theatre and suitably jumpy

I haven’t read the book or seen the movie, so really wasn’t sure what to expect. Upon reading some reviews was a bit nervous about having booked it, but it was great! I am a loving of horror! The man sat next to me jumped...More

I was worried that this would be awful after reading some reviews- however if you're a fan of the book and not looking for an in your face dramatic all singing all dancing show then you will love it. Both actors are fantastic - it...More

Is the worst and most boring play I have seen, felt like a school play (actually they were better). Went for a fright night it was more comical, very very disappointed.

The Woman in Black is an incredible play, the entire thing acted out by two main actors who command the entire stage by themselves. It was compelling and (not so much scary, but...) jumpy at several parts. Looking at the reviews in general, some people...More

One of the best nights ever experienced at the theatre. On reading previous reviews, we weren't sure if we booked a bit of a duffer. The high quality acting, story, production and venue all gelled together beautifully. A gentle trot, to a canter to a...More

Bought tickets for the show for a special occasion. We were not disappointed either!!! The show is amazing. The venue is a great ornate gem which is host to possibly the best show in Theatre land. You will jump, and laugh during the show. I...More

Ok, so there are only 2 main actors on stage but it was just amazing. This is theatre at its best. I really can’t understand the bad reviews. Atmosphere was great and story absorbing. Would highly recommend.

How this production got beyond a run of 29 shows let alone 29 years is beyond me. No atmosphere, no engagement and relying on sudden loud sound effects to get a reaction. The set is poor and the props laughable though the lighting at times...More

It is on for exactly 2 hours, with no intermission and with quite a narrative to follow. But will keep you engaged for sure. Enjoy it, if you do indeed go.

I would say a 12 and 14 year old should be fine it's jumpy scary in a good way not like graphic horror. My daughter was just 15 and she loved it. Such a clever play. Enjoy xx
