A new heart for east London, Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park is the city's newest park. It will be a new home to thousands and a new destination for millions. The Park is now open for the public to visit and is already coming alive as visitors explore its unique parklands, waterways, venues and attractions. The north of the Park and the Copper Box Arena opened in 2013 with a series of incredible festivals and concerts, and the south of the Park, including three iconic venues and the ArcelorMittal Orbit, opened in April 2014.

Being in the area for a business meeting, I thought I would see how the park had developed since the Olympics. It was cold, wet and windy and an umbrella was impossible on the main walkway from Westfield. On a Wednesday afternoon, with no football,...More

Had wished to visit the Olympic park since 2012. Went up on the dock lands light railway. It’s quite a walk from station into the park. Must admit a bit disappointed at how the park seems to have lost a bit of its sparkle. Nothing...More
