Fantastic little pub with a great selection of proper beer, if you are in the area make sure you pop in here. Good for craft ale and real ale, cask or Keg, and they do food.

My partner and I attended the old Red cow on a Sunday. It was by far one of the best roast dinners we have had. Not only was the food excellent and extremily tasty but the vast selection of beers was amazing. I would recommend...More

I'm sure this place is rarely quiet, it's wasn't really quiet when we popped in on a cold lunchtime between Xmas and NY, but if you can find a time to grab a seat it'll be well worth it. Lovely warm service at the bar,...More

Wonderful roast, lovely pub. My only criticism is that the beef wasn't pink enough for my tastes and they skimped on the gravy massively. The roast was very dry because of this. Otherwise great!

I had a great afternoon as always with the ladies that lunch, but we won't be going back to this particular pub. I felt the prices were relatively high for the portions, one slice of pork belly.....good points fast service.
