Popped in on sat afternoon for lunch. I had fixed price 3 course menu (whitebait, steak & creme brûlée) which was good value for £16.95, friend shared my starter & pud & had Cesear salad for main. Food good & staff lovely

Such a brilliant location, next door to theatre land, on the strand, close to bus stops and walking distance from the Thames. Wonderful old English building, we could've sat outside all night watching the world go by. Will definitely be back!

Ok, I know I'm odd because my favorite all time meal is a roast beef & Yorkshire pudding with pan gravy and all the trimmings. Why is this weird, you ask? Because I'm a Texan! Granted I've been an Anglophile since I was in England...More
