Neighbourhood: Belgravia
Home to the vast majority of embassies and diplomatic residences in London, sophisticated and upscale Belgravia also boasts a wealth of luxury hotels, fine dining restaurants, and some of the city’s most stroll worthy lanes. While the prices here are high, taking a leisurely stroll through the streets of picturesque and elegant white stucco houses is free. Hyde Park and the Buckingham Palace Gardens are only a stone's throw away to the north, and some of Europe’s best shopping is nearby as well.

    Hidden gem of a pub
A real locals place - excellent food, ambience and service. Hidden from the main roads so it's not a touristy. They don't take reservations, so get there early (the dining room is small) or just be prepared to stand outside with a drink and wait.

    Great burgers, lovely staff
I’d heard of this place and was keen to check it out. Opportunity knocked on a school hols trip to London with my 7 year old son. I decided a pub lunch was in order. We arrived at about 12.30 ahead of any lunchtime rush and I wasn’t disappointed. The staff were fantastic, offering us a table in the restaurant. The burger was excellent washed down with the Grenadier ale. It’s not cheap, but I wasn’t expecting it to be. An excellent gem of a small pub in a lovely part of town off the beaten track. Will definitely be back sometime and will probably have exactly the same to eat and drink.

    Nice food. Advisable to book
A small group of us came in for some lunch. The pub is small and quaint so recommend to book. Food is nice - good quality although not a massive choice. I think it’s fairly pricey as some dishes are mid £30’s but then have to add sides on. We had a burger and fish n chips which was about £40 so fairly reasonable. Would pop in again.

First visit to the Grenadier, and it was a wonderful, classic pub experience! Lots of choices on draft, and the modest menu presents many good choices. My simple choice of a hamburger was perfectly prepared, and the staff very welcoming. They also have a Ineos Grenadier parked outside which was a nice touch!

A great pub experience. A fantastic location and friendly atmosphere. It gets very busy at times but you expect that in a place like this.

It is truly the best Beef Wellington in London!!
We've been on a quest, seeking the best Sunday Roast in London, not in a million years I thought we would find it just next door at The Grenadier!! What an amazing Beef Wellington served with tradicional roast sides, York pudding and all. I Loved it!!!
And Tony the owner is a charm, super friendly and welcoming, makes you feel right at home, a crowded home, but a very heartfelt experience. Thank you

Buy your drinks at the bar. The staff will try to get you to put it on the bill so they can charge an extra 12.5% service. Despite booking, we were shown to a very small table. We were overcharged and although the bill was eventually changed, there was no apology. The food is ok but overpriced and the beer is well kept, but the attitude of the staff needs to improve.

Crowded and alive, with excellent restaurant-style food (Beef Wellington) so not a place for pub grub. The Grenadier Ale is superb, as are all aspects of the place.

Great ambience and atmosphere. Planned to eat lunch but left after being shown to the world’s smallest table in an empty restaurant. Staff were pretty ambivalent when we left - disappointing. Wouldn’t bother again.
