Great views of everything on the river. Can walk most of the way though some areas are closed for construction. Bring a coat as the wind is gusty here with nothing to block it.

We walked part of the Millennium Mile on a warm August evening. Just near the Globe we got a great picture across the river of St Paul's. Although it was 10pm the walk way was still busy with tourists.

A week later and some sunshine and I would probably have given a 5* to The Millennium Mile. The walk was fun, if cool and even the selfie-stickers weren't too trouble some. The best part though were the open-air food stalls, simply stunning.

This is a great spot to go for a walk with plenty to see and do. The views are cool and there are bars and street food available. I quite liked watching the kids do tricks their skateboards.

Even before the arrival of the instantly iconic Shard,
