What Makes It Special
A pop-up mall based in the heart of East London. Opened in 2011, BOXPARK is constructed using stripped, and refitted shipping containers, creating 40 exciting pop-up spaces. Filled with a mix of fashion and lifestyle brands, galleries, cafes and restaurants - BOXPARK places local and global brands side-by-side, creating a unique shopping and dining destination. BOXPARK is not some run-of-the-mall shopping centre. It's a living, fertile community of brands packed with talent, innovation and attitude that puts creativity and fashion back where they belong: on the street.
Two levels, pop-up shops on the ground floor, street food and drinks on the first floor, made of refitted shipping containers.
If the weather is good, you can enjoy your drinks under the sun, in two outdoor terraces with Shoreditch all around you.
Heard this place was bouncing during the World Cup matches, but it was still pretty full upstairs on a quiet night elsewhere.
Enjoyed our bubble waffles, although they were smaller than they appeared to be, and a tad expensive.

My kids love Boxpark. The food “boxes” are really great. They can choose their own food from a very wide choice, and can together in the many communal eating areas - nice, clean wooden tables / benches.

Great variety of “street” food, plenty of bars and terrace. This place has an urban feeling and is a nice change from the usual London pub. I would not recommend it for family, even though we we’re there with my boyfriend teenager, this is a...More
Such a random place. But the vibe was so good! (I think it helped the weather was nice) I’d certainly check it out again as we only had drinks & frozen yogurt here. The food options looked very tasty to say the least though!
There are small retail units on the ground floor, fronting onto the street, upstairs there is ample seating and street type food and drink units - lots to choose from! A really good place to go on a sunny day! Sometimes they have special promotions,...More
The western front of the edgy East End, Shoreditch is a perennially trendy haven for anything “street” – be it art, food, or fashion. With its handful of well connected transportation links dotting its perimeter, along with an ever increasing variety of shops, hotels, bars, and restaurants, it's easy to explore this trend-conscious and youth-oriented neighbourhood. There's a lingering post-industrial grit about
Shoreditch, but because it shares a border with “The City” financial district, the influence from its upscale neighbour can result in fascinating outcomes.
