This is a busy main road running sort of East to West from Holborn through Cambridge Circus to Piccadilly Circus. There are restaurants, bars and theatres along here but really I think the best areas to explore are accessed from here just off of the...More

Shops, restaurants, cafes, theatres - what's not to love? Soho is just off this busy street and there is so much to do and see around the area. You could spend hours here just browsing, eating, drinking and people watching. The heart of theatre land.

A very busy street mostly geared towards tourists but caters for the office works based on the street or nearby too; well worth walking through if you are in passing or nearby but not worth making a specific detour for it.

The “Broadway” of London, I actually enjoy this theater district more! Definitely take in a show if you have the opportunity. Last minute tickets can get pretty cheap! My theater rule is to see something native to the country I’m in, if possible.

While partaking in a long walking expedition through London's West End theatre district during our most recent stay in the city, we again found ourselves exploring Shaftsbury Avenue. A previous walk along this busy street had been a little disappointing. This visit, two years on...More
