My other half took me to London to see a show, something I'd always wanted to do (but I'm from the North....said in a Jon Snow tone 😂), so Shaftesbury Avenue was a total delight. My eyes were like saucepan lids taking in all the...More

A very busy street mostly geared towards tourists but caters for the office works based on the street or nearby too; well worth walking through if you are in passing or nearby but not worth making a specific detour for it.

The “Broadway” of London, I actually enjoy this theater district more! Definitely take in a show if you have the opportunity. Last minute tickets can get pretty cheap! My theater rule is to see something native to the country I’m in, if possible.

Everywhere seemed no more than 10 minutes by foot , tube close by as was Covent Garden etc. No problems getting nice eateries , Oxford street shopping just up the street.

Shaftesbury Avenue is a major road in London that runs right through Piccadilly Circus and was named after Anthony Ashley Cooper the 7th earl of Shaftesbury. The street was built between 1877 and 1886.
