Attended a building control awards event here and Wow what a building Food and staff were amazing , it was only the lack of a proper bar that slightly tainted the evening The building itself is fantastic and has whetted my appetite to go back...More

It is free to visit the Guildhall - just call at the reception. Access is then granted to the large, historic, grand hall which is very interesting. There are numerous plaques etc to read. The official markers measuring a foot, a yard and a metre...More

We were invited here by a National Charity for a volunteers "thank you" dinner. The setting in the great hall was superb, the food excellent and the staff and table service matched the food. This is London hosting at its best.

We started with the Guild Hall itself. It is an impressive room that has been used for centuries for governance purposes for the City of London. There was limited access because of a function. We went to the Gallery next and were quite impressed. The...More

I attended a Livery Company Lunch (the Carmen). The service, food quality and ambience were of a very high order. The atmosphere was calm, measured and thoroughly professional - as one would expect from an enterprise with such a long and influential history. Having had...More
