South of the river the best views and photo opportunities are actually from the river but up close there are now lots of bars and restaurants in the converted building nice place to chill out but a little pricey

Located on the south side of the river, butlers wharf was once factories serving boats on the river but is now expensive apartments. The architecture is attractive and there are nice bars and restaurants to visit. Ponte de la tour being one of my favourites....More

great walk from here along south bank to london bridge. nearest tube is london bridge or Bermondsey. lots of bars and restaurants, recommend Browns. HMS Belfast just a short walk and views across the thames from canary wharf to london bridge
