The Temple Church is beautifully maintained (Round Church c.1185, the rest c.1240). Lots of interesting items including effigies of some of the knights. Exhibition about the first world war was very moving – such a waste of young lives on both sites of the conflict....More

This is well worth a visit - such a beautiful church. The walls had an exhibition on the Magna Carta and was very interesting. It is difficult to find- but we'll worth the walk

Even if you go to Temple tube station, it is not straightforward to find the narrow Middle Temple road from the Strand. The Church itself is tucked away in a courtyard. There is a small charge to enter the Church. There are only 4 medieval...More

When we visited the Temple Church we were lucky to be given an introductory talk by the verger. The church has an interesting history, and in "the round church", based on The Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem, there are several effigies of knights...More

Built in 1185 for the Knights Templar, Temple Church is beautifully maintained, full of history and it has great acoustics. Try and catch a lunchtime or afternoon choir service here. The organ is one of the best in the world and the temple choir is...More

This small and modest church tucked away from the bustle of the main streets is a must to learn a little about the formative history of England and life at the time of the crusades and roles the knights Templar had back then. The significance...More

Look at the Transport for London (TfL) Web site and you'll find the relevant buses. Or open up Google Maps and you can see the bus stops near the Temple on Fleet Street and The Embankment.
