Beautiful tranquil woodlands. Long walks in dense woods and end up in a lovely old pub like Hand in Hand or Crooked Billet where the food and drink are excellent.

Well maintained period pub on edge of Wimbledon Common. Several bars area with many nooks and crannies. Older crowd with lots of seating. Nice menu and atmosphere. Recommended !!

Nice big place to make sure that you walk in nature and get lots of exercise. Many places to go and the duck pond was extremely child friendly. We visited on a bright sunny day. This made the visit quite special.

Love this place for running round. So many different routes to try and very peaceful. On Saturday and Sunday there is limited parking so get there early. Public toilets, water fountain and a cafe for stopping off before or after your run!

Love the common:-) golfers and dog walkers abound, lots of pretty heathland and woodland, and all in the heart of suburbia. If you have a dog to walk or just feel like some bucolic relaxation or a run the common is the place to be:-)...More
