The 99 Club has won Best London Comedy Club for four years in a row at the Chortle Awards. This is our largest venue and yet the shape of the room and the low ceilings offer the sort of intimate, friendly and exciting gig for which all our venues are famed. The critics say that 99 Club Leicester Square has "A great atmosphere... A feeling like you got if you were going to see a band in the early days of punk" - TimeoutOver the years this critically acclaimed venue has played host to nearly every major TV act working today and it's terrific reputation among comedians and audiences means in the last year alone it's seen special sets from: Russell Howard, Lee Mack, Stephen K. Amos, Andy Parsons, Jason Manford, Rich Hall, Lenny Henry and many more. With the very best in the current crop of live comedians playing at our regular shows, the critics agree this is always a great place to come for comedy.

We went on a Monday for a friends birthday and it was such good fun! Laughed almost all night and for just over £5 a ticket, it was such a cheap night out! Will definitely be returning.

Yet another great night at 99 Club. The other two comics and the compere were all excellent, but what a treat to see Russell Kane - we'd never seen him before. Extremely visual - physical theatre combined with comic genius. Flipping back and forth from...More

Very good comedy for £10, would definitely recommend. Only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is because of the venue, but they are honest and open about that before you go

I have been to Club 99 a couple of times. The stand ups both times have been really funny, well known and less well known comedians, what makes it even better is the reasonable price and the location. Very highly recommend to those who love...More

If you either live in London or on holiday, you've got to come and see this night, really good stuff and you're well taken care of. Well worth a visit.

The 99 is a small dark, cramped club down a tight stairway in a basement off Leicester Square. It has a tiny stage, so the comedians are right in front of you. We sat in the rear part, mainly to avoid the verbal abuse people...More
