Once the West End's most salubrious cottage, supposedly the haunt of Wilde, Orton, Gielgud & Crisp, CellarDoor is now London's cult cabaret bar, secreted beneath the Aldwych in a space just big enough for cats (both feline and human) to swing. We're open until 1AM seven nights a week with free acts from 9PM each evening including drag queens, femme fatales, magicians, crooners, burlesque beauties & more.

This place was an unexpected jewel. From the entrance which looks to be a tube station, the atmosphere including lights and live music, to the amazing bartenders. Will and Mikaela will make sure that you are extremely satisfied with every drink and throw in some...More

We liked it so much we joined! The place you can end up in but more often now the place we head to first and stay. Friendly, fabulous and frivolous!

A lazy Tuesday evening, a nice cocktail, a fab barman, good live music, very good vibes overall. The barman didn't stop for a second, worked very hard and was the friendliest chap ever. The waitress seemed rather slow in comparison, I must say.

What can I say.... it’s been one of my favourite spot in town for years now. Love the vibe, the music, the mixed crowd and the sense of freedom once you walk in.

Spent a few hours here on a recent Saturday night. It was brilliant, it is quite small but my husband and I did have a table. The entertainment was really good and the waitress was lovely. Would highly recommend.

We stopped for a drink on the way home, never been before. The venue is small, there was a drag queen who was brilliant. My espresso martini was surveyed in a mug which I thought was quirky. And the toilets tricked me.

i'd buy the ticket. you could be lucky and it could be an utterly slow night. most likely it will be packed and you won't want to crowd in. or you might not even be able to get in. if it's your prime destination... More
