Honor Oak has managed to stay special even though there are rougher areas around it, the Honor Oak housing Estate, Croften Park, New Cross, Catford, Peckham. Yet it is still an up and coming area, with a mini Sainsburys local right near the train station...More

Honor Oak is a quiet, relatively leafy South East London suburb with some excellent independent restuarants. The best: Mamma Dough for sourdough pizza with artisan ingredients and local craft ale. Babur, an award-winning gourmet Indian restaurant. Le Querce, a friendly and high quality Italian restaurant.
