What Makes It Special
This indoor market dates back to 1737, and is the only in London located on a World Heritage site. The range of antiques and independent designs is even better when you arrive via Thames riverboat.

Visited the market yesterday (23rd June 2018) and was not overly impressed by the stalls Most were general bric-a-brac at inflated prices and nothing impressed us. Although the market was crowded not many were buying so perhaps their views were similar to ours. The good...More

Lots of amazing shops. It’s hard to come here and leave empty-handed without buying something. Lots of creative London souvenirs you can purchase here.

Enjoyed a busy Bank Holiday weekend at Greenwich. It was crowded but still very enjoyable. There were lots of lovely interesting stalls with hand crafted goods being sold. I loved the atmosphere. Great for an morning/afternoon of browsing.

You can find foods (and other stuffs) from around the world in this beautiful market. They've got Japanese, Portuguese, Carribbean... So many things to try, and stalls' location are often changed so that you don't get bored going there again and again.

No visit to Greenwich is complete without a visit to the market. An area surrounded by shops and the the stalls in the middle. A wide variety of things for sale from old to new. Also refreshments available.

Greenwich is an amazing place for a weekend stroll with family and friends. If you stop at the food market, do try the Brazilian churros! Thank me later.
