We had always wanted to visit Little Venice and we finally did late October. The day that we had earmarked for our little adventure was freezing cold and wet, though the sun did make a valiant effort of slicing through the grey, its persistence eventually...More

So having lived in London all my life I decided to visit Little Venice for the first time. It was Xmas eve, I caught a nearly empty train to Warwick Ave and walked the 1-2 mins to Little Venice. It’s clearly sign posted. It was...More

We left Paddington station and walked through Little Venice and along the Grand Union canal. Lots of bright coloured boats, flowers, peaceful and relaxed atmosphere. Very nice.

London has some amazing walks along the Canals. Worth checking them out on your maps or phone, pubs on the way. Then end up at Lisboa enroute to the Portobello Rd market. Lisboa is amazing for pastel de Nata Portuguese custard tarts.

Having been there a week or so ago when it was fairly quiet I would suggest that it will be very quiet but that’s no bad thing. Avoiding the crowds in London occasionally should be seen as a perk in my opinion.

Yes. There are plenty of places to get to the river Some with steps. Others just a ramp or path A nice surfaced path runs alongside the river
