Our guide David was absolutely amazing. He was knowledgable, articulate, and lively. He walked us through the scenic streets and greens of Hampstead with infectious enthusiasm that demonstrated deep research combined with a genuine passion for Hampstead in particular, and guided tours in general. HIGHLY...More

Took the ‘Secret Thames’ London Walk. It was given by an archaeologist and lots of in-depth information about the Thames and history. We ended up at the Global Theatre coffee shop where she showed up some very old items she had helped dig up in...More

We took our first London Walk in 1973 and have been returning visitors yearly for the past 20+ years. I think we have been on almost every walk, some twice, as we bring friends and family to London. EXCELLENT Guides and we always come away...More

My husband and I took the Old Westminster by Gaslight walk this evening. It was awesome! Our guide was knowledgeable and humorous. Loved the background on the historic Westminster area. Definitely hoping to take another walk while I'm here.

I was in a group of ten, ably guided by Simon around the hidden secrets of Covent Garden. We were taken to hidden lanes, educated about the history of the area and entertained throughout by our Guide who was funny, knowledgeable and charming. The two...More

We did two fascinating walks. The night-time Jack the Ripper walk was really informative. Steve, our guide, explained all the possible theories for who the Ripper might have been. He's a great story-teller, and such a personable chap. Our second walk was of the Jewish...More

Marylebone offers what so many London neighbourhoods
cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience.
Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged
between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the
southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of
Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as
pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The
bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it

Of the tours I took (Greenwich and Hampstead), I do not think they would be appropriate for 3 and 5 year-olds. There is a pretty steady rhythm of walk a bit, stand a bit, while the tour guide talks about the building or... More

It’s true it’s a Bank Holiday and school holiday week, London generally will be busier than usual. I’ve done several of these walks on visits to London and they stick to the printed/online timetables. The groups are likely... More

People of all ages enjoy these walks but they are not designed for small children. Just remember they are walks quite often on cobblestones so wear appropriate shoes.
