went here for a weekend away. It's gone downhill massively. Most clothes stalls are the same dated stuff. Don't get me wrong, it's cheap, but that's it.

Visited last Sunday and was disappointed with the range and quality of goods on sale. The market still serves a purpose but now serves a much narrower customer base than when I last visited

Went on Sunday expecting it to be heaving this close to xmas and it was a dreadful waste of time, poor stalls, few people and no London market atmosphere. Time is better spent elsewhere

I had not been in many years and what a major difference. The clothes were of poor quality and outdated. Stating Asos and other shop brands that is clearly not. A family of people begging. Dreadful place now. Sample clothing being sold but the same...More

We hated it here. The cultural mix made the atmosphere appear volatile and we were very aware of potential pickpockets and felt very vulnerable. Most of the clothes on sale were cheap tat and there was nothing that encouraged us to part with a penny...More

From J Boy of Derby I used to love this market I have often visited it to listen to the characters selling their goods and having banter with the punters. This was the first place where I ate Jellied eels, so a recent visit proved...More
