With so much history this pub was not as expected. The place as a venue looks pretty good but the bar itself is bland & uninspiring. Not bad, just underwhelming.

Followed my new favourite Michelin guide to a pub close to Waterloo station.. this place came up and I thought I'd give it a go. Odd menu... it read very disjointed.. snails, gnocchi, cold soups, octopus stew etc... was really a weird combination of offerings......More

Went for lunch. Food was good but slow to arrive (they did just open) staff were friendly. They had good variety with some light options
