This comes across as not only a statue in honour of the King but is nicely situated with one of Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother so pays tribute to their unity as well and amazing to see she outlived him by fifty years.

This is a decent memorial of the late Queen Mother and King George VI. The memorial includes two statues and some lovely sculptures on the wall.

As we were walking along the Mall on our way back from seeing Buckingham Palace, we noticed these lovely memorial statues. We stopped to admire them as they're intricate, and eye-catching.
