The bell tower is surmounted by a gilded weather vane in the shape of a ship. Still called the Sailor's Church. The beautiful garden used to be the only licensed burial ground in Liverpool for over 600 years. This site is drenched in history.

Church is across from the cruise ship dock. Well kept garden. Small parish church and friendly staff.

Went as part geneology research had a relative married there in 1856 very impressed magnificently restored with charming gardens have passed it for years and not realized what a gem

A lovely church with an enormous history. It was hit with a direct hit during the blitz . All that was left standing was the walls and the tower. Rebuild completed in 1952.
