Served one day but not the next despite people being in the pub & pub being open. Quite disappointed as it is a nice pub to come to. 4 nice real ales from my previous day’s visit. The atmosphere then was friendlier with the staff...More

Small but perfectly formed. A warm welcome. Good beer. Love the place, no TVs no music, sit down and talk to each other.

What an amazing pub. Hidden gem in Liverpool. Fabulous beers. We were told they did great pork pies, no menu or sign, but yes they do. Huge ones and the best I have ever tasted. Wonderful place to while away a chilled weekend afternoon

Nice old backstreet pub which is clearly a favourite of locals. Good ale, friendly and knowledgeable down to earth bar staff and good prices. This old pub has interesting decor in an understated way. Well worth a visit.

I totally loved this place. Great craft beers, great snug, and locals super friendly to us. The only wobble was the first barman who rather irritatingly was dismissive of their little "gin-nasium" and we were embarrassed by his behaviour as we had been told that...More
