Great selection of ales, friendly service with a smile from staff. Nice to see a traditional style pub for a change!! Only negative was the wait for the food but was still really tasty when it arrived.

We had a drink here before going on the tour ‘the Liverpool nobody knows ‘ not been here for a few years. Good to see it had kept its traditional pub feel. Staff friendly and smiley.

The choice of ales is unbelievable, the staff have very good knowledge of them too which helps. We didn’t eat here but the food always smells good. Could do with a few cushions on the benches though!

Hubby likes the beer choices here, Patric the Erdinger Dunkel. It was sunny so we sat outside which was nice.
