My 1st impression was of a GENUINELY welcoming warm utterly convivial place. My 2nd 3rd @ 4th impressions confirmed the 1st.So many places try so hard to create an atmosphere that comes effortlessly to this very basic unfussy boozer.

My first visit to this pub, and for sure not my last. Here you can choose exactly the beer you want. My favourite was 'Erdinger Black'. Great staff and atmosphere.

Visited with three friends and stayed for a few hours. Beers are at least £3 and you can sample each one before you buy, which is great. Staff are friendly and the place is very busy, but we luckily managed to get a table.
