Was recommended by our hotel staff and they were not wrong. Friendly welcome, great beer and a fantastic burger. Would strongly recommend. Well worth a visit. A proper pub.

My husband and I were recommended this pub when we visited Liverpool for the Easter weekend. Great local traditional pub. Friendly efficient staff. Good choice of ales and gin. Will definitely be back next time we are in Liverpool

Yes Debbie - children are allowed until around 8pm, although it can get very busy during weekends and while the football season is on.
