Overall, I like this museum very much. Most of the exhibits were full of information. They showed artifacts and explanatory text, which is the best, most informative way to go. They didn't overuse technology, so everything works. The Egyptian exhibit was especially good.

Accessible with lifts. Admittedly cafe very busy due to the Terratta Warriors (they should be particularly proud of this exhibition- flowed beautifully and so interesting).

We went to see the Terracotta Army and although glad we did, it was a little disappointing. Firstly, you need to know that if you are going to see the Terracotta Army then book several weeks in advance, it isn't cheap and I'll be honest,...More

Visited with a large group. The general consensus was "fantastic" and that goes for me also. Although the exhibition was quite crowded we managed to see all of it in reasonable comfort. Overall the exhibits were wonderfully educational. I was a little surprised at how...More

We had an allocated visiting time and we did not queue. We were with few people, were let in on time and were free once inside to wander at will and take photographs

it depends whether particular displays catch your attention, but 90 minutes to 2 hours is sufficient to see it and not feel you've missed it. Assuming the Terracotta Warriors exhibit is the touring exhibition which has been... More
